American Home opened its doors in 1936. For 90 years, generations of New Mexicans have walked through them to furnish first apartments, build homes together, welcome children and gather with family and friends.

Despite every effort to find a way forward, we were not able to secure what the company needed to continue. American Home is going out of business, and we have begun an orderly liquidation of our store and backstock inventory.

We've always tried to offer quality furniture at a fair price, with service and integrity you could count on. That doesn't change now. Our team will keep taking care of every guest, answering your questions and helping you understand your options, right up to the last day.

Pick your pieces

Living room, bedroom, dining, mattresses, rugs and patio, all 50% to 75% off. It's first come, first served, and we can't hold anything you haven't paid for.
Pick it up in two days

We move your purchase to our warehouse the day after you buy it, and it's ready for pickup the day after that, 9 AM to 2:30 PM, at 10000 Coors Bypass NW, Suite 100, at Cottonwood Mall. Buy Monday, pick up Wednesday. Bring a truck, trailer or vehicle that fits.

Where can I shop?

At our store only: 2100 Carlisle Blvd NE, Suite B, at I-40 & Carlisle, open Monday through Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM. Our warehouse at Cottonwood Mall is for customer pickups only, so there's no shopping there. What you buy at Carlisle is ready for pickup at the warehouse two days later.

We move everything you buy at Carlisle to the warehouse the day after your purchase, and it's ready for pickup there the day after that. Buy Monday, pick up starting Wednesday. Can I take it home the day I buy it?

No. Every purchase moves to our warehouse the day after you buy it, and it's ready for pickup there two days after your purchase, 9 AM to 2:30 PM. Buy Monday, pick up starting Wednesday, so plan your truck or trailer for that day.

Bought something on or before October 26? Where do I pick it up?

Any purchase set for customer pickup on or before October 26 is ready now at our warehouse: 10000 Coors Bypass NW, Suite 100, Albuquerque, NM 87114, at Cottonwood Mall. Come by during pickup hours, 9 AM to 2:30 PM. Directions to the warehouse.

Can you hold something for me?

No. We can't hold anything you haven't bought. Once you pay, your purchase goes to our warehouse and is ready for pickup two days later. Everything else is first come, first served.

Do you deliver?

Not during this event. Everything is customer pickup only, at our warehouse, starting two days after you buy it. Plan to bring a truck, trailer or vehicle that fits your purchase.

Should I wait for a better price?

Everything is already 50% to 75% off. It's first come, first served, so the piece you're waiting on may not be here tomorrow.

Can I return or exchange something?

No. This is a liquidation and everything is sold as-is. All sales are final: no refunds, no exchanges, no returns. Look each piece over carefully and measure your space before you buy.

Why is American Home closing?

We explored every path we could to keep going, but weren't able to secure the capital needed to restore our inventory and financial stability. Higher prices driven in part by tariffs, rising transportation costs and families putting off big purchases have hit furniture retailers across the country, and together those pressures were more than we could overcome.
